Emerging from New Jersey’s independent rock scene, Starikova is an alternative rock power trio bringing together explosive instrumentation, expressive vocals and an unapologetically original musical identity.
The band’s story began in 2018, when guitarist John Diaz set out to create the musical project he had always envisioned. Through years of collaboration, songwriting and experimentation, that vision became Starikova, bringing together John, drummer Nini Alfano and bassist Tyler Duane.
Blending alternative rock with garage, hard rock and psychedelic influences, Starikova has built a distinctive sound around experimentation, creative freedom and the energy of live performance. Its releases include Zero, You Already Know and MMXXV, and the band keeps evolving while staying committed to original music.
On The Superstar Denise Show™, Starikova takes center stage in the Superstar Spotlight with an exclusive performance of its original song “Orange Slice Memory,” followed by a special interview with Denise.
