The story

Glenn Simon, known on stage as Cre8ive MC, is a hip-hop and spoken word artist from Morris County, New Jersey. He describes his talent as a combination of flow, rhythm and poetry, and he aims to be as sharp, witty and skillful as possible every time he picks up the mic.

Hip-hop has been part of his life for as long as he can remember, but writing it started by accident. In middle school he was failing English, and a class writing competition was his last chance. His mother suggested he write a rap. He expected to get in trouble for it. Instead he got an A and was asked to perform it again and again for other classes. That was the day he found his art.

Over the years he has built a reputation on the North Jersey scene, opening for hip-hop names including Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Common and Talib Kweli, and in 2025 he released his debut album, “Make Sure They Spell Your Name Right.” He found his way to The Superstar Denise Show™ after seeing his friend and fellow musician Eric Contractor perform on the show.

On the Superstar Spotlight stage he performs his song “Talk,” which he calls his own rebellion against anyone who thinks he’s too old or past his prime. His promise to every audience is a full experience, never a half-hearted show. For Glenn, being a superstar means having that aura and energy, not being afraid to put yourself out there, and inspiring other people to do the same.

His original song “Talk”.
